Okanogan County’s Voting System
The system is accurate, secure, and easy to use.
Voters will receive their ballot by mail. To vote, simply use a black or blue pen to completely color in the box next to your choices, as shown in the sample below and return it by mail or in person by Election Day.

A Disabled Access Unit will be available at the Auditor’s Office for those voters who have difficulty reading or a disability such as blindness or limited dexterity that prohibits them from being able to mark their ballot privately and independently. This special unit is equipped with an audio component and special switches to help the voter vote without assistance.
If You Make A Mistake, draw a line through the entire candidate's name. You then have the option of making another choice if you wish.

The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to uphold I-872 will result in Washington State’s first Top Two Primary. The impact of this new system involves some important points for prospective candidates. These changes only apply to partisan offices. These rules do not apply to nonpartisan offices, Precinct Committee Officers, or the office of President.
