JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The
Okanogan County Building Department is accepting applications
for the full time position of Plans Examiner. Minimum
requirements: High School diploma or G.E.D.; valid
Washington State driver’s
license; current I.C.C. certification for Plans Examiner or
ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire;
minimum of five (5) years experience in the building industry; a
demonstrated knowledge of methods and techniques used in the
inspection and code enforcement and ability to objectively
interpret code requirements; and good public relations skills
with the ability to present a positive professional attitude to
the public at the counter. Salary DOE, starts at $2,800 per
month plus generous benefit package.
