OKANOGAN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
April 12, 2005
The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on April 12, 2005 with Chairman Mary Lou Peterson, Commissioner Andrew Lampe, Commissioner Don Hover and Brenda Crowell, Clerk of the Board present.
Discussion Salmon Recovery Water Resources
Julie Pyper discussed a letter from the Farm Bureau regarding the draft Upper
Columbia Salmon Recovery Plan.
Discussion Nightly Rentals Planning
Greg Wilder provided a memo addressing the findings of a through review of the
county code as it relates to Nightly Rentals and discussed the issue with the
Board. (attached)
Discussion Credit Card Limit Public Works
Del Shove and Rob McGaughey explained that in order to purchase the GPS
equipment they have to have a credit card limit of $5000. Del Shove is presently
working with the bank to increase the card.
Motion Increase Credit Card Public Works
Commissioner Lampe moved to increase the credit limit on visa card to $5000 on
one Public Works credit card. Motion was seconded and carried.
Discussion Property Transfer Public Works
Murray McCory updated the Commissioners on the transfer of the Larson property
to the county. He explained that it has been requested that the Board of
Commissioners set up a Maintenance fund in the amount of $18,000 for the park.
Motion Consent Agenda - Commissioners
Commissioner Lampe moved to approve the consent agenda items 1 through 11 with
mileage changes in the contract with Christine Hartwig. Motion seconded and
carried.
TEMSD Tonasket EMS District
Commissioner Lampe moved to recess as the Board of Commissioners and convene as
the Tonasket EMS District Board of Directors. Motion was seconded and carried.
Voucher Approval Emergency Management Service Tonasket EMS District
Commissioner Hover moved to approve the voucher for $ 6,266.68 for Emergency Management Services. Motion was seconded and carried. (attached)
Commissioner Hover moved to adjourn as the Tonasket EMS Board of Directors. Motion was seconded and carried.

Verification of Support In-Kind Services WSU Agent
Commissioner Lampe moved to approve the first quarter in-kind support for WSU
Nutrition Program in the amount of $5,739 and authorize the Chair to sign.

Letter PWTF Loan / Treasurer Commissioners
A letter was signed responding to the Treasurers questions about the process
for the Public Works Trust Fund Loan for the Lake Osoyoos project. (attached)
