OKANOGAN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
January 3, 2005
The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on January 1, with, Commissioner Mary Lou Peterson, Commissioner Lampe, Commissioner Hover and Brenda Crowell, Clerk of the Board present.
Organization of the Board - Commissioners
Commissioner Hover moved to nominate Commissioner Peterson as Chairman. Motion
was seconded and carried.
Commissioner Lampe moved to nominate Don (Bud) Hover to serve as the Vice-Chairman. Motion was seconded and carried.
Commissioner Hover moved to adjourn as the Board of Commissioners and convene as the Industrial Development Corporation. Motion was seconded and carried.
Organization – Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)
– Commissioners
Commissioner Hover moved to nominate Commissioner Lampe as President of the
Industrial Development Corporation. Motion was seconded and carried.
Commissioner Hover moved to nominate Commissioner Peterson to serve as secretary/treasurer. Motion was seconded and carried.
Commissioner Peterson moved to adjourn as the IDC and convene as the Methow Valley EMS District. Motion was seconded and carried.
Organization – Methow Valley EMS Board of Directors - Commissioners
Commissioner Lampe moved to nominate Commissioner Hover to serve as the Chairman of Methow Valley EMS District. Motion was seconded and carried.
Commissioner Peterson moved to nominate Commissioner Lampe as Vice Chairman of the Methow Valley EMS District. Motion was seconded and carried.
Commissioner Peterson moved to adjourn as the Methow Valley EMS District and convene as Okanogan County Commissioners. Motion was seconded and carried.
Discussion – Commissioners days – Commissioners
Commissioner Peterson explained that in the past each Commissioner has scheduled
a one day other than Monday and Tuesday to be in the office. It was decided that
the schedule would be: Commissioner Hover – Wednesday, Commissioner Peterson –
Thursday, and Commissioner Lampe Friday.
Discussion - .08 County Projects – Facilities
Dan Powers and the Board of Commissioners reviewed the list of projects for
prioritization. Commissioner Don (Bud) Hover asked that Dan get some firm
estimates on the duress alarm and roof. Dan will draft a resolution setting
forth the priorities.
