OKANOGAN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
October 4, 2005
The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on October 4, 2005, with Chairman Mary Lou Peterson, Commissioner Andrew Lampe, Commissioner Hover and Brenda Crowell, Clerk of the Board present.
Discussion – Salmon Recovery – Planning
Nick Christoph discussed a draft letter to the
governor with the Commissioners. Commissioner Peterson asked Nick to touch bases
with Dave McClure from Klickitat County on the Gray Squirrel Recovery Plan.
Discussion – Road Projects – Public Works
Rob McGaughey discussed the status of various
road projects.
Motion – Expenditure Request - Maintenance
Commissioner Hover moved to approve the
purchase of a new water softener for the courthouse boiler up to $1100 plus tax.
Motion was seconded and carried.
Resolution 102-2005 – Solid Waste Fees – Public Works
Commissioner Hover moved to approve Resolution
102-2005, establishing solid waste fees. Motion was seconded and carried.

Motion – Consent Agenda - Commissioners
Commissioner Hover moved to approve the consent
agenda item 1 eliminating item 2 pending a public hearing. Motion was seconded
and carried.

Motion – Sa Teekh Wa Park – Public Works
Commissioner Hover moved to award $130,000 for
the Sa Teekh Wa Park/Trail Project from Title III Funds Motion was seconded and
carried. (attached)
Motion - Voucher Approval - Cmrs.
Vouchers certified and audited by the Auditing
Officer as required by RCW 42.24.080 and those expense reimbursement claims
certified as required by RCW 42.24.090 have been recorded on a list, and made
available to the Board. As of this date, the Board did by unanimous vote approve
the vouchers in the amount of $627,378.07 warrant numbers 48218 through 48389
and payroll in the amount of $1,365,724.59 warrant numbers 13703 through 13989.
