The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on January 30, 2006, with Chairman Don Hover, Commissioner Mary Lou Peterson and Brenda Crowell, Clerk of the Board present. Commissioner Andrew Lampe arrived at 9:00 AM

Executive Session – Personnel - Commissioners
Commissioner Peterson moved to go into executive session for 30 minutes at 8:30 AM to discuss personnel issues. Motion was seconded and carried.

Open Session resumed at 9:00 AM

Discussion – County Finance - Treasurer
Del Shove noted that the Federal Government will be increasing the prime rate. Tonasket Hospital District has lowered their registered warrants by half and Hospital District 1 may need some registered warrants. Del reported that the interest goes into current expense and is about a couple hundred thousand a year. He said that the bonded .08 funds are down to around $72,000.
