OKANOGAN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

March 21, 2006

The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on March 21, 2006, with Chairman Don Hover, Commissioner Mary Lou Peterson and Brenda Crowell, Clerk of the Board present. Commissioner Andrew Lampe is absent on personal business.

Update – Public Works
Frank Sautell updated the Commissioners on the projects being done by Public Works.

Discussion – Invoice Payment - Juvenile
Bruce Moran, Sandy Ervin, Dawna Nicholas

Bruce explained that they have received bills for maintenance work that previously were

not their responsibility to pay. The Commissioners understood and agreed to provide some funding to cover the bills.

Motion - Consent Agenda - Commissioners
Commissioner Peterson moved to approve the consent Agenda items 1-8 Motion was seconded and carried.

1. Approve Commissioner Proceedings March 13th and 14th, 2006
2. Authorize Cattleguard Fanchise: LeRoy Hirst, Roy Schulle, B. Whitley
3. Approve Service Contract for Jeannie Watson
4. Approve Community Action CDBG Public Services for February 06
5. Approve Community Action CDBG Rehabilitation for February 06
6. Approve Community Action CDBG Planning Only Grant for February
7. Approve Community Action Professional Services – Lael Duncan for February 06
8. Approve Regional Shoreline Master Program Contract

Purchase and Sale Agreement – Armory
Commissioner Peterson moved to approve the purchase and sale agreement with the State of Washington Military Department in the amount of $435,000. Motion was seconded and carried. (attached)

MVEMS - Methow Valley EMS District
Commissioner Peterson moved to recess as the Board of Commissioners and convene as the Methow Valley EMS District Board of Directors. Motion was seconded and carried.

Voucher Approval – Emergency Management Service – Methow EMS District

Commissioner Peterson moved to approve the voucher for $30,000 for Emergency Management Services. Motion was seconded and carried. (attached)

Commissioner Peterson moved to adjourn as the Methow EMS Board of Directors. Motion was seconded and carried.
