The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on April 4, 2006, with Chairman Don Hover, Commissioner Andrew Lampe, and Brenda Crowell, Clerk of the Board present.

Update – Planning
Greg Wilder and Bob Gorski briefed the Commissioners on the status of the Legends project. A flow chart has been developed as to how the project permitting, etc., will proceed. Greg and Bob discussed the procedure for building permits and occupancy requirements.

Commissioner Hover left at 1:00 PM, due to emergency situations with flooding after the Department Head Meeting. Commissioner Lampe remained for the rest of the agenda items which were discussion only.

Discussion – Public Development Authorities
The Committee seeking to establish a mobile meat-processing unit in Okanogan County provided information on the creation and responsibilities of a Public Development Authority. The committee would like the Commissioners to create a PDA. Commissioner Lampe will relay the information to the rest of the Board members.
