FIELD DEPUTY (Lateral or Entry Level)
Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office
Examination to establish a roster. Lateral or Entry Level.
REQUIREMENTS: WA. St. Driver’s License, H.S. grad or G.E.D., 21 years of age, U.S. citizen. Applicant cannot have been convicted of any felonies. Background investigation, physical exam, psychological and polygraph exams conducted on successful candidates. Hiring is provisional, based on outcome of psychological evaluation. Additional Requirements for Lateral Entry. Lateral has no written exam; has physical agility and orals only.

EXAMINATION DATES: Wednesday & Friday, April 23, & 25, 2008
Salary: $3247/mo. as of 7-01-07; Lateral is DOE; and insurance benefits (medical, dental and vision)

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS: Wa. St. Driver’s License, H.S. grad or G.E.D., 18 years of age, U.S. citizen. Typing requirement-30wpm. Applicant cannot have been convicted of any felonies. Background investigation, physical exam, psychological and polygraph exams conducted on successful candidates. Hiring is provisional, based on outcome of psychological evaluation. Additional Requirements for Lateral Entry.

CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR

Examination to fill one position for Control Room.
REQUIREMENTS: U.S. citizen, Wa. St. Driver’s License, H.S. grad or G.E.D. Must be 18 YEARS OF AGE. CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR typing requirement 20 wpm. Applicant cannot have been convicted of any felonies. Background investigation, physical exam, psychological and polygraph exams conducted on successful candidates. Hiring is provisional, based on outcome of psychological evaluation. ONLY THE TOP THIRTEEN SCORERS, FROM THOSE WHO PASS THE WRITTEN EXAM, ON THE FIRST DAY OF TESTING, WILL ADVANCE TO ORAL BOARDS ON THE SECOND DAY OF TESTING.
