Prescription Drug Disposal Sites Available

Did you know that Okanogan County has three permanent disposal sites:

  • Omak Police Department (available 24/7)
  • Twisp Police Department (available 24/7)
  • Oroville Police Department (Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00)

Since the County's first Prescription Drug Take Back Day in September 2010, we have disposed of hundreds of pounds of prescription drugs, and contributed to a nearly 70% decrease in 10th grade students reporting using prescription drugs to get high!
Help us keep kids safe but disposing of medicine safely and properly!
