Perhaps the most asked question we receive is, what zoning district am I in? While this question is easily answered, we will need some information from you to determine the zoning designation for your property. First, we will need your 10-digit parcel number, or the land owners full name, which can be obtained from the Assessor's Office. In some cases, we may also need a copy of the aerial photograph for your property, which can also be obtained from the Assessor's Office (509.422.7190). Setbacks, minimum lot size, density, and general land use questions can then be answered. If you know which zoning district you are in, and are curious what the building setbacks are, minimum lot size, density, etc., select from the list below for the appropriate chapter of the Okanogan County Zoning Code.
If you are interested in general zoning requirements, select the appropriate chapter of the Okanogan County Zoning Code, Title 17 below. You may also download the entire document.
