PUBLIC WORKS TEMPORARY SEASONAL POSITIONS

Okanogan County Department of Public Works is accepting applications for the following temporary, seasonal, non-benefited positions available in various maintenance areas. 

M-2 Maintenance Workers Areas 1 & 2 Omak/Okanogan  This position has the primary function and responsibility to operate trucks and light equipment in the Road Division, and assist in all aspects of the maintenance and construction operations on the County’s road system and bridges.  Wages are $21.23-23.41 per hour with no benefits. DOE

Qualifications:  Applicant must be 18 years of age, possess a Commercial Driver's License (Class A, Air Brakes, and Tank Vehicle endorsements), have a current updated health card and a current State of Washington traffic flagging card. 

Flagger and General Laborer. 4 positions open 2 in the sign shop Area 9 and 2 in the Roads Department.  This position primarily performs traffic control within work sites for maintenance and construction projects.  Operates assigned equipment and performs other assigned general labor duties.   Wages are $16.80-18.52 per hour with no benefits. DOE

Qualifications:  Applicant must have a valid Washington State Driver's License and a current Washington Traffic Flagging card.
