Okanogan County Public Works is hiring an M-2 Road Maintenance Worker for Area 2 Okanogan location. The M-2 Road Maintenance Worker has the primary function and responsibility to operate trucks and light equipment for the Road Division, and to assist in all aspects of maintenance and construction operations on the County’s road system and bridges. This is a full-time position and provides a full benefit package which includes family coverage for medical, dental, vision, and Public Employee Retirement options including a employer match.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Washington State Commercial Driver’s License with endorsements (Class-A, Air-Brakes, Tank Vehicles)
    • Apprentice CDL program is available
  • State of Washington Flagging Card and current First Aid Card with CPR – Shall be obtained within the first year of employment
  • Insurability and a good driving record
  • A physical examination (minimum DOT) will be required prior to starting work
  • High School Diploma or GED
