ATTENTION MANUFACTURED HOMEOWNERS: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 31, 2022

The Washington State Department of Labor and Industry (L&I) adopted revised rules pertaining to manufactured homes, installations, installer training and certification that became effective on January 31,2022.
The adopted rule changes have new requirements for homeowners installing their own manufactured or mobile home.
Property owners who are installing and setting up their own manufactured home are now REQUIRED to become an "APPROVED HOMEOWNER" by successfully completing a training course with L&I and meet requirements to do their own installation work in the state of Washington which includes purchasing "installer certification tags."  Please note that L&I certification and local building permits are required prior to starting any work on your installation.
