Records and Requests

If you need to request a document from a file, please fill out our Record Request Form.  You may drop off the form at the office, email or mail  it to the clerk's address provided on the contact us page.

The Clerk's office offers electronic filing through E-Filing Court Documents Online.

  • E-filing requests may take up to 48 hours to complete
  • Note for Hearings must be filed by 4:00 pm Thursday to make the following week's calendar
  • Please contact the Judicial Assistant Office at (509)422-7093 for Special Sets & when noting for no Oral Argument

All Requests that are in case files that are dated in 2000 or before will be done on Fridays of every week. Keep this in mind when requesting documents.

  • Research Fee: $20.00
  • Certified Copy Fee: $5.00 for 1st page, and $1.00 per page after
  • Regular Copy Fee: $.50 per page


*** Please Note: Social Security and the Department of Motor Vehicles do not accept certified electronic copies from ePass at this time ***

Requests for Recorded Proceedings/Court Hearings are made to the County Clerk.  Click the Request Form to fill it out and send back. There is a $25 fee per CD. If you request a CD be mailed to you, there will be an additional $2.00 fee for proper shipping/handling.  If you wish, you can email the completed form to Cathryn Mallett.

Case type 9 - Judgments - these actual files, they are judgment numbers used in and for other cases, in which monetary judgment is ordered
