The Records Division is led by the Chief Civil Deputy and is comprised of four Records Clerks.  The clerk positions are criminal records/evidence, civil process, finance, and a generalized position.  The clerks collectively process Concealed Pistol Licenses, Firearms Transfer Applications, and Public Records Requests in addition to performing the specific duties of their positions. This division handles all of the records processing and management, civil and court process service, evidence processing and storage, Sheriff's sales, financial processing, and other non-criminal aspects of the Sheriff's Office. The customer service aspect of this dedicated division handles concealed carry permit applications, process service for individual citizens, the Okanogan County Prosecuting Attorney, District Court and Superior Court, evidence processing and storage
